The taste is a smooth light mint. Not overpowering.
Cons
Even after brushing w/biotene tooth paste the plax is still present in my mouth. It is a sodium lauryl sulfate and is highly effective cleaning and foaming agent, but also is very strong irritant.

Get up spit this out wash hands brush teeth and then use a different mouthwash to finish
I have bad plaque build up between my front lower teeth when spiting after use i can see pieces of the plaque busting up
Price
Have used this product for years even though over priced
60k of dental work tells you this works
Its a bit less expensive on amazon
Like the taste like the price although it has increased

Plax is nowhere to be found in stores in our area but amazon came through
Competitiveness
This seller sells the same price as it is in walmart while other sellers asked for double or triple price
However the amazon basics version is pretty good but still more expensive than for example the walmart version
With the different vendors i have to look carefully to see what volume i am ordering and what the price is per ounce

It is minty but does not burn or tingle at all

It is a bit sticky if you get it on your bathroom counter so be sure there is no product left in the cup before you put the top back on
