The carabiner unhooks easily for quick refilling. It's very durable and flexible which is why i bought it.

Platypus is an excellent brand. Works great. Loved the mouth piece and the clip.

Cons

It is not sturdy. This means it dribbles out tiny amounts of water. Tried to drain by various methods, even a blow dryer, all without success. Not worth the hassle of sending in for repair.
