Pros

This tool works great when coupled with the platinum tools ez-rj45 ends. Works well with either type jacks and rj11. Great for making cat6 connections with the twists very close to the pins, using ez rj-45 connectors.

Used this to install security system and poe wiring. Good for home repairs and installing e-net cable ends.

Sturdy build quality. Saves time and money by eliminating wasted ends.

The crimper works very well. It crimps effortlessly. My only issue is that i have found that i need to apply pressure slowly, or the crimper can end up mashing the end of the connector.

Heavy duty, well made, outstanding product. Out of 10 result is guaranteed. Will pay for itself easily.

Cons

Ez-rj45 supports ez rj-45's, and only standard rj11's. It frequently fails to punch down pin 1. On plugs where the wires extend outside of the plug, the ez crimp is marginal in cutting the wires.

Returned tool for refund. Poor tollerances cause frequent mis-crimps. Do yourself a favor and buy a klein or some other reliable brand.
