Yes the blade doesnt cut clean through although swiping the wires with your thumb clears all of them easily

You’re supposed to pick the connector based on the thickness of the insulation of the wires

While the old ezrj45 system does a great job with cat5e the ezer system does too and is clearly superior for cat6 and above making ezrj45 essentially obsolete
