Both the stand and the bowl are nice quality.
Packaging/appearance
It is very sturdy, the dish itself has a nice coating.
I put a little sugru moldable putty on the stand to help minimizing clinking while the dogs are eating or drinking.
Competitiveness
She seems to enjoy eating at a higher level.
I order the large, my dog is a 65lb pitbull mix.

When the human dishes go in the dishwasher we pull off the rubber ring and throw those in -- bottom rack usually.

Although the bowls come in a variety of nice colors, i would much prefer a heavier, plain stainless bowl that was not coated in something i have no idea what it is.
