Pros
It is nice to have watering guesswork eliminated. Comes with a nice little instruction booklet. These work splendidly.
The touch of elegance these add to my indoor plants is wonderful. The only down side of these is that they are rather pricy. Yup, they work, and if you get the green, it's not quite as christmas-y.
The terra-cotta spike can’t become clogged with dirt like other plant water-ers with merely a glass tube. It's important to note that you do need to pay attention to the type of soil, type of plant and the rate at which the water is absorbed.
Works great for indoor potted plants. Keeps my indoor plants nicely moisturized. I keep mine refilled as soon as it runs out.
Cons
The terra-cotta part is tiny with too small an opening to snugly hold the globe in place. Most indoor plants are already temperamental. The set is way overpriced.

I have one bulb for each pot and i continue to water with the same frequency but these provide a slow delivery of additional water

Despite the higher price i picked up a few of these
Would have bought more but i think the price is a bit steep at 25 so i only bought one to try it
Wish that the price were more reasonable and i would then purchase more

Not all plants respond the same and there are several factors in getting the most out of this product

While it may seem like common sense to those more familiar to the plant world for more novice or newbie plant people this product is not suitable for succulent or desert type plants

However the product description doesnt mention the warning repeated in both the instructions and on a separate insert prominently attached where you have to remove it before unpacking the globe avoid use in direct sun direct sunlight passing through a filled or partlyfilled glass globe may in rare circumstances produce a lens effect and a hot spot near the globe

To avoid potential heat damage avoid placing the globe where it will receive direct sun

I have several of the watering globes but they get dirt caught in the tube the amount of water is limited very difficult to add water and requires you to insert the tube at a certain angle for it to work
