Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The right texture, size, everything. You get a ton in the bag, so the price is really worth it. I like that these are indeed chunks instead of small bits.

The #1 key is to properly reconstitute the strips first. It helps to use a good broth or bullion, but it's not crucial to do so. Boil it in a seasoned broth.

Cons

Tastes how dry pet food smells. Too spongy. This item is not eligible for return.

Excellent product is very easy to use

The only disadvantage of this soy protein is that it needs to be hydrated either by itself before using in a recipe or while cooking in a casserole with liquid

With tofu its just the opposite for best results you need to remove the water before cooking

The protein expands as its exposed to liquid so my mistake the first time was leaving the size asis

They are flavourless so id recommend cooking them in some kind of stock or with spices to get the flavour you desire

It doesnt have any after taste or side notes like some tvp does either
