Pros

It’s a very goo rod carrier. It's durable, locks securely and telescopes for my fly rods.

I fit 4 spinning rods with sleeves on easily, the adjustable length works perfect. Fits into a ford explor with 3 adults with the bacj packed full of a weeks provisions.

The two tube does taper down to a usable space of 3 inches on one end and a little larger on the other. The adjustment is made by a plastic pin that fits into holes in the side of the inside tube.

The lid is a simple push on and partial twist to lock it. It has foam to cushion the rod tip, it seems sturdy enough for basic transport. The ring locks seem sturdy and reliable.

Cons

Inside diameter is 2 3/4 inches too small for my surf rod. At max extension, the tube has an excessive amount of flex in the middle.
