I recommend that every student learn to tune with a tuning fork before taking the easy way the new fangled electronic tuners which simply cannot be beat until the batteryies are dead and you have no replacements oops

I dont get in reviews when people say they cannot hear it this is a tuning fork not an instrument

For that matter strike it and hold it against anything to hear the pitch

Dont tap it against anything like a metal desk or wooden table

Sure it will resonate but every strike like that over time will start to change the pitch until it is out of tune

Reading a couple of negative reviews one individual indicated that tuning fork was too quiet to hear while another did measurements to indicate not accurate pitch
