The unit itself fits well in my hand the knifes appear to be good quality and overall does a great job tenderizing those cuts that would be less than great if they werent either cooked to death or tenderized either physically or chemically we dont particularly like using the chemical alternative so its either pull out the hammer board which can be quite messy but hey it has the added benefit of reducing stress or using something like this  Read Less
