We let him play with the mallet a couple of weeks later always under our supervision

I think that there is one design flaw once the balls go through there is nothing to stop them from rolling away from the toy

My 9month old son initially didnt know what to do with this toy and i actually didnt think it looked like much fun just hitting balls into holes
