Pros & Cons
Pros
Geeetech has good quality pla. Roll of filament comes vacuum sealed, ensuring no moisture can get into the filament itself. Just as good as any other top of the line filament.
I'm amazed with how great the prints look with this metallic silver filament. Things like puzzles and other gifts seem to take a new life when i print them in the seeming random colors from this roll. It prints smoothly, with good metallic luster, and... Read More
One tip, if you look at my picture, the item on the right has more sheen than the left. This one is the calibration cube. It shows a great deal of stringing in the higher temps. See temperature tower photo.
If you've got a prusa with mmu it is great, no snags or clogs. Use a bit more retraction than normal pla. Consistent layers, no skipping, no zits.
Very vibrant green. Shiny, very metallic looking. I love the color it just pops.
Cons
This filament is more gray than silver. It's much much more like a vaguely shiny cheddar cheese color.

However, the quality control on the color is quite poor.
Will be ordering others based on the quality.
Shipping
I liked geeetech's reviews, price, amazon shipping, and gave the white pla a go.
Packaging/appearance

The only thing missing in my opinion is some sort of specs on the packaging, i had to do some guess work in order to find my pr... Read More

75-76mmfirst time using geeetech silk, and worked out well for my need.
I may be a newb with 3d printers, but i have been around long enough to tell when a product lives up to the hype and performs as it should.
- not all geeetech filaments have come with a ziplock bag for storage, but i have tons of them around.
I printed this on a creality ender-3 with a magnetic flexible pei print surface (210/60, 0.
