Pros
It has many colors modes from just setting a solid color at whatever rgb value you want. Peak brightness at 100% is very bright for its size. The “light effects” are a neat feature, allowing for creative effects for video shooting.
The build quality is excellent. Exceeded expectations on effectiveness. The pixel g1s were a good choice, they are stronger and more affordable.

Used through an umbrella i find it not strong enough, but it was expected. It's mostly metal with the exception of the knobs. Very sturdy, solid aluminum.
Cons
Light no longer holds a charge or turns on at all when plugged in. Usb charging cable is too short, the plug in port is very loosy. Connection swivel is stiff. Mode dial is cheap flimsy plastic, and has fallen apart.

I would of opted for the aputure mc if they weren’t so weak even though their app is really worth getting the mc
The built quality is pretty good which feels reliable

Price wise i think its totally worth it
A little lower in brightness than i would like but the price more than makes up for it
This thing feels like it cost twice the price

Love the usb c port and the fast charging cable that comes with it

Well built and feels solid compared to the more expensive and smaller aputure mc which i also have and feels somewhat cheap
I would definitely buy another one soon for my new sony a7iii dslr which i use mostly for weddings
I will be purchasing a 2nd unit in the future
