Reviews Summary

I know i've saved a bit of money but i think in future i'll be buying the official canon products as they clearly do the job better :) works a treat on my 5d3, had no issues with excessive battery drain either, fells like an original canon grip

First of all, the af and shutter release often won't respond when using the buttons on the grip, so would end up reverting to the standard buttons on the camera, rendering the grip useless (other than to provide a bit of extra support underneath the camera)

I was concerned about this being a third party grip as previously i'd always bought canon's own accessories

Just received the grip today however, and am very impressed - especially as this is virtually 1/4 the cost of the vastly overpriced canon one!it's well built (no creaking or wobbling at all once it's screwed into place) and the battery holder feels secure (with a small twist lock holding everything in place)
