Gameplay try to get past the ugly message text and the fact all the characters greet you in the same manner and you might just find a nice sailing game in there somewhere

Think of this as an rpg like morrowind or nwn and you will give up immediately its just not in the same league

The missions are scary i gave up because i didnt want the frenchys slautering me

The gameplay was solid enough but dragged sometimes and didnt have the same massivly adictive pull that the eldar scrolls had
