Pros & Cons
Pros
These are a good brake pad. There's a little relief groove causing the angled portion of the pad to put less pressure on the rim. This keeps the angled bit from wearing away flat.
The blue and chrome are great colors in person. The brakes feel solid enough for me. And, they look good to boot. These fit on my mongoose with no problem.
There is minimalistic wear, especially for the amount of hard braking they undergo daily. Installed these on my 1983 schwinn super sport and saw immediate improvement in braking.
Cons
Just get some mountain bike brakes that have the same screw type of mounting, they're cheaper and much safer. They are noisy, too small and made of cheap material despite the price being high. Really disappointing pads.
