There are no nooks and crannies that are hard to reach, though i do use a bottle brush to wash out the holes. The ceramic is really heavy so it doesn't get moved around and it's really easy to clean. It can be handwashed or put in the dishwasher.

The unit feels sturdy and the ceramic is nice in quality. The ceramic is very pleasant to the decor.

Pioneer pet's pump is easy-peasy to clean.

Cons

Extremely disappointed. Save your money and don't buy. It is horrible and you will get sick!

I couldn’t find a rubber mat to fit so it is sitting on the styrofoam piece that was part of the packaging

Just not sure on how to stop the water seeping from the waterfall piece underneath
