Pros

This is a great unit, and very affordable compared to what you would pay through a local ac company. This unit is great its so quiet and really pumps out the cold and hot air. Hats off to pioneer for including awesome instructions.

Installation is actually fairly easy, particularly if you don't try to alter the length of the supplied tubing. Installing a 230v electrical line was a pain, but not at all difficult. The installation instructions from the manufacturer are complete th...  Read More

The unit puts out gentle, steady heat and is virtually silent. Best attribute is noise level of both the idu and the odu, they are quiet. I typically just have it on the dry mode to take humidity out, and the kitchen is actually frigid at times.

I wish it had a programmable thermostat but for how we use it it's fine. On auto you just tell it what temp you want it to keep, and it will move seamlessly between heating and cooling to stay on that temperature. Basically the house magically stays c...  Read More

Cons

Wi-fi unit keeps disconnecting. After looking this up and consulting with hvac export, the e1 code is an “indoor/outdoor units communication error. After first year inside unit went bad. This year compressor goes out.

Don't buy, doesn't last. While the price is good the savings are not worth the hassle and lack of support. Well, there went 15 or so minutes down the drain. The item is about $250.
