The pile is short but densely woven, so while it’s not a fluffy towel, it is highly effective. It absorbs fast, that's really the whole purpose of a towel and it does the job extremely well. Thick and absorbent.

Would not recommend to washcloth shoppers. Maybe this towel will soften up after 10 washes or more, i'm not sure. The loops are too short and compact - making for a pretty hard nap. The quality of the washcloth is good, just too thick.

It huts to write this review, as i really wanted to love the pinzon towels. The terry cloth is stiff, the border 'break' pictured is just thin cotton and the edge consists of about 1/4 inch of equally thin hem. The finishing on the sides is way off.

Because they're so smali i find it quite difficult to get hold of two corners when scrubbing my back due to my arthritis. Not restoration hardware quality. They are so thick and weigh a ton, so i can barely lift the dang things, let alone use them.
