After purchasing one medium 916 i came back just to purchase the extra fine nib 916. I like a pen with no feedback and this is just what i like and the price is insanely low, to boot! My favorite is pelikan violett.

The exterior is beautiful. It is sleek and not overly ostentatious. Every inch speaks of regal in its perfection.
Cons
Maybe it has something to do with iridium in general, or the purity/quality of the iridium used? There was residual ink in the barrel and left in the nib.

Great with the pen converter or cartridges
Even with the difficult walden ink it writes fairly smooth
Please let me know i wanted the same quality
This resolved my issue with the pen laying ink down in the beginning

And the price is insanely low to boot
I enjoy using fountain pens but dont enjoy the price sometimes
Packaging/appearance
Every inch speaks of regal in its perfection from packaging to writing
Competitiveness
Very very smooth feel in fact smoother than my carene from waterman
I like them far better than many more expensive brands
At a tenth the price of my waterman carene im getting 80 the experience
For a starter pen or small hands its hard to compete with

They dont leak which is often a problem with cheaper fountain pens

It was clear the one delivered was plastic instead of metal and that the pen was significantly lighter

They dry really quickly i tried smudging the page a couple of times after a second or two of writing but it didnt smudge

When you are writing with a needle point it is ok if it feels a bit like a needle
