Pros

Ymmv. The pen writes great no skips or drags. Writes very smoothly, does not dry out overnight. I expect to derive years of satisfaction with it from my new writing fondness.

The aesthetics make up for all the shortcomings. I especially love the gold artwork as it feels very old and expensive for a modest price. The way the light catches on the red coating and makes that area so much more vibrant is an eye-catching effect.... Read More

The pen comes with a screw-type ink converter. Not scrimping on the cost makes all the difference. The internal pump cartridge is so easy to use.

Although it's a smooth surface, it's every bit as easily gripable as any of the metal based or resin fountain pens. Soft moving with no scratching. The grip is very good and it is perfect for college and classes.

Cons

Ink is light and watery almost gray instead of black. The dryden pens write better but leak even more. There is no way to replace the nib - you're stuck with a medium.
