This is the worst cooktop i have ever used. It is good at boiling water only. The unit seems to work better at the 900 watt setting, but achieving a regular simmer is still tricky and i would *never* let it cook unattended.

Really like the 5 degree temp adjustment compact size and consistent cycling
With the pan lowest energy settings i have made a few successful steaks and stir fried a few veggies
I did know when i got this unit that the membrane control buttons were going to crack and break
I had one of these years till the off switch broke

This one was listed as used for much less money

Came in a previously opened box but it works perfectly

Ive tried other socalled hot plates and they dont get hot enough
I have another induction burner different brand but decided to try the nuwave for a second induction burner

We tried another glass touch pad unit and it was awful and ended up going out to the barn and we also bought the bigger one of these but it failed in about 3 months
