The idea of a world where magic and dragons exist and the protagonist of the story is an artist immediately caught my attention when i read the dust jacket on phoenix extravagant

The last third in comparison just kind of felt dull and fell flat in ways i’m not entirely sure how to express i don’t know if it needed to be longer or what but in the end the ending kind of muddled the book for me i’d reread the first two thirds for fun maybe but then put it down and go read something else
