There were fewer features with the basic unit such as no 30 second pulse to tell you when to move on to the next quadrant

I read in another review that electric toothbrushes tend to have a longer life overall if you dont charge them every day but rather wait until the battery dies to charge it up to full again

It doesnt have 30 second timers like more expensive models often have it just starts up and runs for a couple of minutes then shuts off with a series of beeps that i think are related to the remaining battery level

I got this toothbrush with a coupon but at full retail i would recommend spending a little more on a better model
