The 2700 deg color temperature and 470 lumens gives a very pleasing light. They work very well with dimmers. The light goes where you want it as opposed to a cfl or halogen.

One other note is that the bottom sticks out below what our halogens did its not a problem with our fixtures but its worth noting

If you look at the light the semiclear bit is what sticks out beyond the normal halogen size
