Pros
Fits everything, including flippers, if you have them. It fit his small child fins, mask and snorkel nicely with plenty of room to spare.
I like that it doesn't have velcro to snag my swimsuit or towels like others. Also used the bag during scalloping season as a harvest bag. Would also function great as an all purpose bag for sand toys or beach towels.
Cons
The bag that shipped is not the bag that is pictured in previous reviews. My fins fit in it only if i have have them in a heal to toe arrangement. This hangs down to my knees. It is impossible to carry.

It is not wide enough to hold the fins mask and snorkel without exerting undesired pressure potentially deforming the equipment

Because of the stickylike material fins and other gear do not easily slide into or out of bag which can be a plus in that it makes it more difficult to lose gear but in order to get gear into or out of you have to peel or roll the bag down and up

As far as using it to pick up trash i liked that it allowed for sand to fall through but some items would get caughtstuck in the mesh which made for “extra touching” of trash
