Pros

You can have the flap open at different areas, it has a side mesh that you can either open and clip or close. But then again dogs are den animals and they feel most comfortable in a den like environment. Just nice size for my 4lb yorkie.

Cons

Each time i've had to buy a new bag, is because they zipper broke. I dislike the texture of the material. The full zip around for both sides is not safe.
