 before installing this i read lots of reviews learned lots of pitfalls and shortcomings of the product


I am going to request a return but will be purchasing the larger doggie door as i do like the product

Opening closing the screen sometimes latches the lock so animal cant get in or out


Instructions say to remove the screen door but i didnt and it was ready to use in less than 10 minutes


The only differences between this and the one for my cat are this is larger for dogs and doesnt have the paw imprint on the screen


Easy to install and didn’t pull out the rest of the screen

    It simply falls apart if you try to pound the two halfs together

    So place the two sides in place on either side of your screen and drill 8 holes through the two sides and use nuts and bolts to squeeze the halfs together firmly onto your screen
