Is the reservoir submersible? The wireless pump has its own little foam filter, which does appear to help keep the pump cleaner. Even pumps have a runtime lifespan.

Smart mode saves energy and ensures the water filter lasts longer (60 days) and the water stays fresher. It's very easy to pick up from the base to refill it. I know the app will tell me when it needs water but i prefer to fill up before then.

Thia is not inexpensive item and by their warranty, they can only provide full support for 30 days and you're sol if you're past that. Horrible design flaw. Petkit's response is to act like small-time crooks and ignore the problem.
