This is a good size for our large cat and has a nice calming effect on him. My 19lb cat fit just fine for the vet trip. I have two medium sized cats and prefer to keep them together for vet trips because one is an anxious traveler.

My mr. Man loves his new carrier! Happy with purchase. Just as described and very reasonably priced.

The mesh side panels also have zip up/down covers to provide visual blocking (or openness) in the car or at the vet. Zippers work pretty smoothly.

Cons

The bottom inside is a bit oversized and just doesn't quite fit right. Also, this carrier is flimsy and the floorpad doesnt fit well into the bottom. My cat fits, but he’s literally cramped in there.

The advertising picture is deceiving. Collapses when not fully zipped closed. However my cata have no interest in a collapsed carrier.
