When it’s that cold, a delicate layer of ice crystals form on the rim.

Cons

Plastic is likely to get biofilm coatings from bacteria, even more so than porcelain or stainless steel. It seems it heats too high or something that it dries it completely out within 24 hours. Gonna try an outdoor timer to regulate the temp.
