Pros
Silicone coated so not likely to scorch. I use quite a bit of starch getting things nice and crisp, there’s no residue or stains left behind. The material is truly heat and stain resistant.
It fits like a glove and is well constructed. The cover is exactly as shown, easy to put on board, nice tight fit, velco straps keep it in place.
The velcro straps keep it securely in place. Plus, they include a non-scorching mesh pad which actually works.
Cons
The cover is unusable so i am returning. I hope that my reorder will be clean and usable. This cover is way overpriced and i do not recommend it.
The edges are indeed elasticized but not even close to enough for a fit. There are two velcro straps but they only cinch the width.

I seriously removed 3 old covers from my ironing board not because i needed to simply because they were ancient and broken down
