This heating pad is not self-adhesive, so it won't peel off the tank if you lower the temperature or turn it off.

The dial allows for adjusting temperature, but there are no markings or tactile cues (clicks) to indicate the magnitude of the adjustment (think of a stove dial with no numbers).

Adjusted the dial and used a temp gun to zero in the correct temperature (85 degrees) over the heat mat inside the tub.

Make sure you get a thermostat to plug into this so you can regulate the temperature more accurately.
