These clippers have a super long cord eliminating the need for an extention cord. They are a little heavy to handle but to be expected based on the size of the clippers. This clipper is excellent.

Powerful motor in these clippers cuts through even the thickest of horse hair. Long haired breeds need to be clipped every other month except for january thru march. My big dog is a malamute/shepherd mix.
