Pros

These steps work well with my small dog (8 lbs) it's sturdy enough for my 8 pound chihuahua. It's great for my puppy who can't get on the bed without them. Cocoa color good with my oak furniture.

Pet gear has a great product in their pet stairs iii. Carpet on steps is removable for cleaning. I've noticed that on my hardwood floors, my dog slips a bit when going up the first step. This 3 step stair is just the ticket.

Cons

The dogs weigh 15 pounds and the steps are rated up to 150 pounds. For our medium sized dog, was a little big and intimidating. They are not nearly wide enough or sturdy enough.

Quality was not great a few years ago, now it totally stinks. If you think of this product as a cube which has six sides, it only has four. The holes were not drilled in the correct places for the steps to fit together properly.

The stairs are not fully carpeted. Also, the * of the stair treads is not good for him. The stairway was too big for our bedroom.
