Pros
My cat is rambunctious and has bent or snapped a couple rods while playing. There is just something about it that is more enticing than a normal stick toy.
The thicker rope and eyelet really work, i never have to pause to untangle anything. Great cat wand, i only wish the string was a bit longer (easily remedied, though).

This is our cat batmans favorite. My cat is obsessed with this type of toy. And they are thrilled about it.
Cons

So im very happy with the design
I was not prepared for how obsessed my kitten would be with the toy
He wanted to play 247 but only with the rod and would condescendingly stare at you if you tried any other toy
We had an issue with the pole and the company replaced

The price is fair for what we get two rods and assorted worms

I’ve tried many different types of toys but if it’s not constantly moving and doesn’t make sound then he wants nothing to do with it

Luckily they sell the worms separately so you don’t have to keep buying the whole wand over and over again

Our first wand was great until a ferocious orange kitty stayed with us for a couple of weeks and literally destroyed it in two days after we had used it with our sweet tuxedo for two years without incident

I bought a second different wand to try it out and immediately noticed how much better this wand is

The fact that it comes apart in the middle is a highlight since i sometimes tuck the handle into the couch cushions to leave the worm hanging and the cats occasionally want to drag it around the house

So whenever the stick is trapped they can pull it apart at the middle and trot off

It does make it feel safer too since itll pop apart before putting a dangerous pressure on their claw it they get stuck
