The 2 dog one is a waist bungee handle bungee clip to the v shaped 2 dog part that is handle bungee clip to dog

So if walking just one dog you cant use the v part

So you are left with just a piece that is bungee handle bungee and the only option is to clip it to your waist with the handle in the middle making for a very short leash

The 2 dog version cannot be uses for one dog unless you want them on a very short leash right next to at all times
