None of them really like to be brushed, but when they see the comb they come running.

I had to cutt many out previous to this comb/brush and sit and pull each one out.

My cat adopted us off the street, very bad mats all over her.

Only thing i didn't like was the small side seemed to go over the fur, not through it.

We have two somewhat elderly longhair cats that as they have aged, are having progressively increasing difficulties doing normal cat grooming activities, so have been developing significant tangled and matted fur that obviously also causes pulling and distress.

The delaying comb works well, but i have a cat that is very resistant to being combed, so it is going to take time to get all of the matted fur off of him.

The problem is the cat, not the comb.

I will have to go back to my tedious way of cutting through the matts with manicure scissors and trying to pull them apart.
