If they are really freaking out it doesnt seem to be as effective but i just have to aim it at them and hit the ultrasonic button once or twice and they quiet down pretty quick

My neighbor has two horrible dogs one pit bull mix they leave outside with an electric collar and one smaller yappy awful thing they let run around without a leash
