Key is to find a recent mole run about 20cm from a mole hill open with a spade and place this inline with the tunnel

I caught every mole i had with these and its all in the set up first wear rubber gloves when touching the trap and soil

Id tried various other trapping and catching methods with little success with tunnel traps the moles just blocked them up as soon as i set them

I set 2 of these claw traps and the very first night caught the mole that had been causing all the lawn damage

Despite reservations the process looked relatively humane in that the trap had caught the mole by the neck and hence it must have been killed instantly
