It's once again a fast-paced, high-stakes adventure. If you've gone through the first six books, then this is a must read. This book sets up the third arc of the story. Corey has a gripping writing style.

The laconians take over medina station and try to make it peaceful and prosperous. Against a backdrop of poorly understood alien technology and threat, the enemy in the foreground is still as human as ever.

Best book of the series so far.

James s. Bobbie draper is a better captain than james holden.
