Installation is always going to be hard on the tv stand because a lot of the wall studs are not exactly spaced at 16 inches i had to drill the metal hanger frame quarter of an inch out to make it work because of my wall stud over spacing

If you know your house is really old and your wall studs are 18 inches buy a bigger stand this is meant for 16 inch wall studs
