Pros & Cons
Pros
It's out all year around, through wisconsin winters and summers.
It holds 8 lbs of food which makes my husband happy, not refilling every day. Works well but seed can be dumped very easy by picky birds looking for the perfect tidbit.
Cons
Top keeps unscrewing itself and the bottom falls on the ground. It is a pain to fill and clean because the knob does not unscrew. You have to unscrew the lid by rotating the lid for what seems like 10 minutes before it comes off.
This is a big disappointment since i had already sent the first one back. This feeder, like most of the perky pet feeders, is so bad that it should have a zero-star rating. Very poorly designed product.

One eventual major problem is in the bottom plastic plate where the rod screws into a gold colored nut
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Eventually through washing screwing and unscrewing the upper lid usually too tightly the nut gets stripped

And once that happens the rod falls out and wont stay in the bottom plate and youre up a creek
