It does allow air circulation which made the bottom crust very crunchy and nice but if it had had suggestions for the size of loaf id have given it a 5star rating

They are too small to make a french bread loaf but baguettes work well

I looked at several bread pans but the thing about this one that makes it so great is that there is a one inch separation between each bread cylinder that means that when the dough rises it wont bump into the one next to it
