Pros
The pentel energel alloy rt is my absolute favorite pen. These pens are fantastic.
The pens are a little pricy to start, but definitely worth it since they are refillable. Especially the feel of the metal design. They feel like a much more expensive pen than they are. You can refill them in multiple colors.
The energel alloy is great. Was extremely pleased with the first on so decided to purchase another one. This is the one i recommend.
This pen has a nice fat barrel. The grooves in the barrel make holding onto the pen very easy. It's not too heavy and doesn't have the same problem as the plastic pen energel, i.
Cons
The color is absolutely gorgeous but when they all break in the same spot, there is probably a manufacturer issue. The pen also manages to be both flash and cheap looking at the same time. The button used to be metal, now it is weak plastic.

When i opened the box containing the pen and some other items i had ordered i noticed that the plastic sleeve the pen was in had ink smeared inside

The little rubber bit that pentel normally has on a new pen tip was missing

This alone does not account for the amount of ink that was in the plastic sleeve this did not come in the retail packaging though neither did the two red versions i also bought here on amazon and they did not have this issue plus those each came with a spare ink cartridge while this one did not

You can get better deals on multipacks of refillable pens made of plastic that have a similar size and shape to this model

As i said i have several of this model pen in various colors and one of them dropped on my basement floor causing the button to pop off

I do give pentel kudos for replacing that pen when i sent it back for warranty repairreplacement
