To put things in perspective i had to literally spend nearly 3000 us to get a scope that actually outclassed the pentax pf80ed

Its a shame pentax cant make a decent zoom eyepiece to match this scope but as of mid2014 it seems you cant buy a zoom from any manufacturer matching the image quality of the xw eyepieces without spending quite a bit more

Another reason you might want to consider this scope is pentaxs worryfree lifetime warranty which is firstrate and covers both the scope body and the xw eyepiece no matter what you manage to do to them
