Just have to be smart and use it as a reference rather than on every shot and remember to turn it off

It does go into standby with the camera but you really need to turn it off to save the battery

Its not as nice as having gps built into your camera but its easier than remembering to turn on your gps and then correlate the track data with the timestamps on your camera

With this attached i get the exact location the altitude and the direction i was facing when the shot was taken recorded and attached directly to the photo
