To me that is unconscionable and i used to have a system that injected the waste water back into the hot water heater thereby capturing 100 of the waste

There is one problem however this unit requires a 10 gpd 150 mlmin flow restrictor on the waste line in order to ensure optimum efficiency

These are hard to find and on pentairs web site they say that this unit ships with the flow restrictor

Be sure you either have a 10 gpd flow restrictor on hand or make sure that the seller is shipping one with the unit before you buy this to retrofit your existing ro system or build one from scratch as i did
