Pros & Cons
Pros
For a small turbo engine revving higher than bigger naturally aspirated engines this is one of the best oils you could use. The entire drivetrain is still original except my starter which i replaced at 248,000 miles. The engine is still quiet! My now ... Read More
Cons
Amazon really needs to work on it to search refining functionality. Expired oil should be disposed of, not sold for use in vehicles. Replacement order that showed up is api grade sn when the photos clearly show grade sp.
Engine noise at highway speeds, then engine has a faint lifter tap. Walmart has a reviewer describing exactly same problem on his camaro. Seems to get slightly worse mileage with the pennzoil as well.
Highlights
Quality
The product runs well with my car
Happy with product used only in power lawn equipment
This is a high quality oil and delivered fast cheapest price anywhere 5 stars
Love pennzoil oil and am happy with what they’re doing with their natural gas and carbon neutral products
Price
Nice to get it delivered for a good price
I really like the price i got and it was free shipping
Competitiveness
Replaced the standard 5w30 oil in my lawnmower with this synthetic and noticed an immediate difference
I have used this oil on my 2017 bmw x3 and 2016 bmw 328 for few years now
Unless you get something boutiqueish like amsoil or royal purple at much higher cost and not at all worth the price difference
