Wireless is great for printers, but my mouse and keyboard are not wired. With the wired version i never have to worry about it running out of power.

This amazing product has been ruined by a lack of quality control. In short, the product is smashed into little pieces in the corner of my office. This product causes shoulder pain.
As an ergonomic mouse, the penguin is a failure. It keeps your hand in an unnatural straight vertical upright which is almost as bad as a traditional horizontal mouse for wrist strain. The bottom lip thing takes up some serious space.

I use the penguin along with the microsoft natural ergonomic keyboard 4000
I would gladly pay somewhat more for a higher quality product
Like many other reviewers here i too have found the quality to be somewhat lacking especially for the price of this mouse

Very similar issue to the last time now the mouse pointer disappears on the screen for no apparent reason
Ive been using penguin ambidextrous vertical mice since 2013 after ditching the evoluent vertical mouse
Recently i wore right through the little glide pads on the bottom
Competitiveness
I find it easier to use than the evoluent mouse and standard mouse drivers will work with the penguin
I have worked with several including the evoluent verticalmouse 4
The evoluent mice did not last and were not ambidextrous
Overall the wired version of this mouse is a 5star product

I dont play games so i cant rate whether we can play games with it i can see some time needed to get used to them

Be sure to wrap your fingers around the end of the mouse rather than leaving your index finger pointing away from you to avoid loud clicks

While i was getting used to it i kept touching the wheel on top which starts the scrolling

I had been off work for 3 months with rsi problems problems in both hands arms and neck particularly the right hand as i am right handed
